Next couple days will be light on content – I’m on vacation and my battlegroup is down.

I have rolled a DK on another server and I’ll say, it’s kinda weird the second time around.

First off, I practically had the zone to myself.

Soth also rolled a DK on the same server. He choose an obvious name while I choose, well, a name.

I waved at him. He waved back.

He poked me. I poked back.

Pilgrim’s Bounty: The Guide

I’ve been staying up far too late in the nights past.

Anyhooo, on with the show!

As with every holiday, I produce my own guide even though everyone under the sun has also written one.

This is a completely optional holiday. For those of you after the violet proto-drake, this is NOT part of the meta.

Rewards are the title of Pilgrim and an awesome turkey pet. (Summon, build campfire, laugh – it’s hilarious.)

The new boss: Gates

No, not Bill Gates.

Raid gates.

In case you weren’t paying attention, when ToCr was released, each boss was released at timed intervals.

So week one you would learn the Northrend Beasts fight.

Next release you would fight the beasts and move on to Lord Jaraxxus.

Then the Faction Chumps.

So on and so forth.

This is a forced gate, deliberately slowing progression – not to be confused with gear checks or skill checks that can be overcome by better gear or moving out of fire.

Come 3.3, Icecrown Citadel will be released in a gated manner.

What’s up with all the belfs?

So it’s been noticed that I have a few blood elves in my character selection screen.

A friend asked the other day if I had a stable of them.

(Duh, where else do you keep studs?)

And then yesterday, Ty went straight to the hard-hitting question:

what’s with this obsesstion with Belfs? Do you have a little metrosexual boy as your inner child Arioch?

Oops. And in response to those comments: Because I CAN! My main is an enchanter. To not have enchanted gear is like running around naked to me. Just not in a sexy way. So it’s like a naked gnome. /shudder

Note 2: And then I managed to screw up posting this a second time and somehow pre-dated the post. I give up. /sigh

I like my BoA gear, I really do.

Except for one itsy, bitsy, teensy, weensy problem: enchants/enhancements.

The item level on the BoA gear is always level 1, meaning you are restricted to enchants and enhancements that do not have an item level requirements.
