I gots me some readin’ to do

Updated my blog roll the other night.

Click the “blogs” link above to see who I’m keeping up with.

Then, because apparently I didn’t feel overwhelmed enough with life at the moment I counted all the links in my “will come back and read all of this later” list.

One hundred and twenty fucking four links.

Egads.

I know a few are repeats (must mean I REALLY should be reading them) and a couple are links to specific posts that I just wanted to keep track of and should be in a different folder.

But seriously, that’s going to take me some time to wade through.

And I add a new one almost every day. Sometimes two or three at a time.

Damn you prolific writers of thought-provoking material I want to read!

So if I’m not reading your blog, I’m just not reading your blog YET.

And yes, I still have that bizarre compulsion to read through all the archives of a blog.

So newer blogs are easier to add than older blogs.

But I will get there eventually!

I think I need to set a goal of slogging through at least one set of archives a week. Except for maybe the ones that are over a year old.

Hmmm… a week for each year in production?

We’ll see how that goes. (I don’t think it’s going to go very well, Larisa has a LOT of archives.)

So as a favor, can everyone just stop writing for about a month while I try and get caught up?

Pretty please?

/squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

My wind rider cub arrived. =)

I have yet to claim the in-game version, I’m too busy cuddling the plushie.

Next week I hope to have scraped together some of the data for my DK and how well he’s done in his first forays into the world of Heroics. He also has a *squee* all his own.

5.3, bitch!

Got creative in raid composition last night to make sure more people got to raid. I think it worked out. Not my favorite solution, but I’m having trouble finding a facility that can clone Dark/Soth and have his copies raid-ready in under a year.

Should be heading into Ulduar this weekend to tackle some of those hard modes that have been taunting us for a while.

And now I’m going to bed because I can’t carry a coherent thought past 2 sentences.

I’m gonna get myself one of those…. though I don’t think I’ll be so loud about it.

Come on help me out. Best way to get rid of a cold is to pass it on to someone else.

      Said by Arioch:

      2) my favorite: at least 16 ounces of bloody steak

And she wonders why people fear her.

Whiskey helps to quell some of your fever/cough symptoms (it works similar to cough medicine in that it numbs your throat and draws moisture to your organs from your blood stream). An actual sure fire way to help is to drink plenty of milk/orange juice enriched with Vit C/D. These help boost your immune system and can help your body fight it naturally.

Also, you may want to pick up a type of expectorant. Try your local pharmacy. Guafinesin is the generic name for an expectorant (clears the crud from your chest). You can also try a generic sinus decongestant like deconamine.

If you want an all in one, there are brand name drugs such as Tylenol Cold & Sinus, which is a decongestant/cough suppressant/expectorant. If you can find it Tylenol Cold/Sinus w/ Cold Burst is best, as it gives you that cooling feeling along with the above mentioned affects.

Also, you will want to take plenty of rest. Another thing also depends on your symptoms. If you are having fever along with cough and the others, you want to drink plenty of fluids and go extremely light on foods. Food causes your body to generate more heat to break it down, which in turn will cause your fever to go up and may cause nausea/vomitting.

If all you have is just cough/chest congestion/sinus problems, chicken soup or any other type of soup with a thin broth helps aid in decongestion. It is also simple for the body to breakdown so it won’t over tax your body’s already hyperactivity (due to you being sick).

As always with any illness, if you do eat anything, make sure it is light and you only eat what YOU can tolerate. You don’t want to starve your body, but at the same time, you don’t want to cause yourself undue harm.

As always, please consult with your doctor before administering/starting any treatment regimen.

What blogs top your list – if you had a top 10?

Critalqq as well as yourself post a new blog, almost daily so I tend to keep up with your blogs above any others. Not to mention you and him at least write coherently and about interesting things.

Now if I could only find a warrior blog that isn’t about tanking – that posts regularly…
