For that mage in the window?
The one with the fox pony tail?
That’s right, Arioch is looking for a new home.
He’s housebroken, doesn’t bite (much), is arcane spec, and just wants his pointy elf ears back.
Here’s what I offer:
The toon is a raiding mage, arcane spec, downed 7/8 in 10-man DS. If you want to see specifics on gear or achievements: Aríoch.
Also with the mage comes an ALT priest, 8/8 in 25-man DS: Selwynne. (HEAVY emphasis on ALT. Seriously.) [UPDATE: now 1/8 Heroic 25]
Together, they represent maxed tailoring, enchanting, alchemy, and jewel crafting.
I came to this server to raid on my mage and I’m leaving because I’m raiding more on the priest than on the mage. That, and I can’t find shit in Stormwind.
In a pinch or an alt raid I don’t mind healing, but if I’m shelling out cash to move it will be to have my mage as my raiding main.
There are no hard feelings towards my guild, the roster just didn’t play out like I was told it would.
My gear most likely won’t be improving much between now and a transfer, with the exception of VP pieces. I’ll be passing raid gear to people that will be staying with the guild – when I get to raid. I imagine I’ll be benched as soon as a replacement can be recruited.
About me:
I like long walks on the beach, poking dead things with sticks, and killing internet dragons.
I’m frequently a smart ass (but you already knew that if you’ve been hanging out here), but I listen to a raid leader, don’t clutter up vent with stupid bullshit, and generally don’t die to the same shit twice. I also click the lightwell.
I have a blog (duuuuuurrrrr), but don’t discuss specifics of guild politics. Generally speaking, if I don’t have anything nice to say I don’t say anything at all or I vent in ambiguous and generic ways. Again, if you’ve been a reader for any length of time you know my style.
What I want:
I’m not looking for a cutting edge guild to carry me to purples. I’m looking for a home. Somewhere I can log in and not shudder every time I look at my character selection.
I’m looking for a Horde-side raiding guild. I tried Alliance, and I’m just not digging it. Varian has great hair, I’ll give him that much, but it’s fucking B-L-O-O-D-L-U-S-T not heroism.
I don’t care if it’s a PvE or PvP server, but would be really hard pressed to consider RP. I would like it to be active with a decently stocked AH. Mounts for sale are a real big plus.
Currently, I raid 4-5 nights a week and I’m looking to cut back to 2-3. I would much rather be focused for a couple nights than drag it out for a week while waiting for people to get back from the bathroom. I don’t want to start throwing around labels like “casual” and “hardcore” but I’m looking for less time in the raid instances overall. There’s a lot of stuff I like to do outside of raiding, and some stuff outside the game that I would like to get back in to.
My raid schedule right now runs 6 PM to 10 PM Pacific (9 PM to 1 AM Eastern), but I do have some wiggle room there, a little earlier or later won’t hurt. I work from home so my schedule is pretty consistent. There are times that I need to go in to the office (usually about once a quarter), those days I may be a little late. I do have family in the area and infrequently get roped in to a family obligations of some sort, but it doesn’t happen often and sometimes they’re even nice enough to give me advance notice. My boyfriend raids so there isn’t much potential for aggro unless my raid schedule runs longer than his.
I do have cats, and yes, sometimes they get on the keyboard. I don’t believe they have been solely responsible for any raid wipes. Yet.
I want to raid 10-mans. I’ll do 25s if the guild environment is right. That’s the nice way of saying that there are 25 people that want to be there and you’re not carrying your sister’s cousin’s aunt’s dog groomer’s kid that would rather be fapping to DOTA and is constantly alt-tabbed out.
My computer is fine for 25s, only issues are in the same places everyone bogs down. Laying down a PW: Barrier on Ultraxion after Nozdormu buffs the raid is a nightmare, but otherwise my FPS is good and my connection is cable business class.
Haven’t killed Deathwing yet? No problem. I’ve already killed him and don’t mind working with a competent group to get there again.
Working on heroics? No problem. I’ll research the shit out of what I need to do to bring my best to the party.
I want a guild where people don’t treat each other like shit. A guild where there isn’t “that guy” that logs in to vent and no one notices because everyone has him on mute. Maybe even a guild that runs old content for shits and giggles (And achievement points! Did I mention I’m an achievement whore?)
When will this happen:
To be honest, I don’t have a time line in mind. I made the move to my current server a bit on the hasty side and we can all see how happy that has made me. I would like to be settled before MoP and I want my current guild to have time to replace me.
If I get any offers, I would like to take some time to get to know the guild, hang out with you, and make sure it’s a good fit.
If you have any questions or would like to talk more about this, drop me a line in the comments or email me at suprbrat at gmail dot com.
If you don’t have a spot for me or are Alliance but would like to help send me back to Horde, please repost, link, or tweet. Much appreciated.
I’ve been mainly playing Alliance since the end of Wrath, and I still can’t get over the goofy name they have for bloodlust.
Sorry, that’s all I have to contribute.

You’d think with the fights all being DPS checks (except maybe Yohr’sahj) that a good deeps would be more appreciated. Then again, with guilds catching Legendary Fever, they might be less interested in a caster that doesn’t have the staff. :<
How's that rogue of yours coming along, anyway? :D
