Easing back in

I got to raid!

I sucked ass, but I got to raid!

Even got a Heroic Yor’sahj and the Taste the Rainbow achievement.

Look at that… 4 months with no achievements. /shame

As expected, the atmosphere was different due to the change in roster, much more relaxed.

So relaxed that I think half the raid was drunk.

We didn’t quite clear H Ultraxxion before people had to leave, but it was good fun.

I’m having trouble remembering how to move… or that I have more than 4 abilities to use… or to cast Mage Armor on the last pull (remembered all night except that damn pull!)

I did remember where my sheep button was and even Time Warp.

But I felt pretty sluggish with the button pushing and relied on muscle memory to position my character. Unfortunately, with the increase to the nerf, judging when to burn was off a bit. Some fights I over-estimated the group and some I under-estimated… but bosses still died.

My biggest fuck up of the night was Fading Light. I would freak out and hit the button too soon, killing myself twice.

All in all, it was a good night.

Now if I could just remember how to play properly…

Huzzah for achievements!!! I find movement (as in omg omg how the Fish do i move again) to be the biggest issue when returning to a game after a break.

Yay! It is good to see you back in action :)

I am very happy the guild has sort of calmed itself down by getting rid of the asshat :)

You will be back to fine form soon enough don’t worry about that :)
